Results Night - 10:21 p.m.

Depressed

I am way bummed out by this years AI. It's just not the same. Ryan seems tired and bitter, Simon seems mild and cordial...at least Paula is as irritating as ever. And worst of all, no Clay. The new slick set for the round of 32 is a disappointment. And the dumb audience gives the contestants too much confidence. I like when they had to sing only with piano directly to the judges and camera. It really freaked some of them out and they would cave. No one caved Tuesday night (well Leather Nurse Chick came close!). And results night was so obvious...no suspense..."after the break stuff" used to be fun...now it's just obvious...even Ryan can't sell it any more. What's with annointing the winner before it happens!?

I hope it gets better next week...one plus will be that we won't have to listen to Fantastia! Maybe Brianna will make things interesting next week...maybe the real Ryan Seacrest will show up and maybe, just maybe Simon will rip someone apart wether they deserve it or not! And maybe Clay will show up and sing "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me". OK that's not gonna happen so I will just go watch him on DVD and dream of the good 'ole days!
