Yesterday I went to see John Edwards at Maple Grove HS with Todd, Lee and Jenny. There was an insane amount of people there�I guess it was something like 7,000...anyways here�s the highlights�.

John Edwards IS a hottie�when he smiled you could see his teeth from a mile away.

It was like 114 degrees in the fucking gym. We were soaking wet�it was a gorgeous day and the rally should have been held outside! Democrats can be pretty stupid sometimes. When Edwards got on stage he immediately took his coat off and then a bit later his tie�Jenny and I hoped he would keep going...

Minnesotans are nice and obedient people�when the rally was over they asked people to not leave through a certain set of doors but through another set on the other side of the gym at which point the whole crowd turned en masse and went to the other doors�

Minnesotans are so predictable�people starting leaving about 10 minutes before it was over�we overheard murmurings about beating the traffic�yeah good luck with that!

We were watching some hosebag on stage hiking up her tight jeans and sticking her boobs out when Lee speculated (quietly to me) that she was most likely with �The Pipe-Fitters Union� HAHAHAHA!� I repeated it to Jenny, not so quietly, and the lady in front of us turned around and said, �that�s my friend��.Oh Shit�we just stared at her like idiots and then she started laughing and said she had never met the woman. Really funny!

Some really lame chick introduced Edwards and she was whining about her husband possibly losing his job because people weren�t buying dentures as much as they used to�to which the other lady in front of us said, �BITCH, how can they buy dentures when they can�t afford food or medicine!� HAHAHAHA! We were among our own kind.

Ken Barlow was there. We were fixated on him. There wasn't much else to do while we sweated to the oldies (super loud sound trax of lame 70's and 80's songs with uplifting, surviving to the finish themes). He was packed in the crowd like the rest of us.

And finally John Edwards really is a hottie. It reminded me of seeing Bill Clinton in downtown Minneapolis back in 1992 when he ran for his first term. Edwards has that same charm and magnetism that Bill has...unfortunately Kerry doesn�t seem to have it. As we were leaving Todd predicted that that same thing will happen in November that happened in 2000...Kerry/Edwards will win the popular vote and W will take the electoral college.
